“A fun visit for children big and small”
I went to a model village as a child so wanted to take my boys to one too. They really enjoyed this place and so did I. We wandered round a few times doing the quiz they provide. A small cafe is attached with a small menu of coffees and snacks etc. we spent about an hour and a half here including time for a coffee and found it v good value for money at £10 for a family ticket. Family run place with friendly staff and easy (free) parking.
“Bondville Model Village”
Enjoy a coffee and scone, then spend a fascinating hour taking in the detail, thought and skill that has gone into this model village. Even the garden walls are beautifully made. As are the seats and benches for the many characters watching cricket, drinking in the pub garden or reading in the cottage gardens. Well worth the small entrance fee
“Delightful place for young and old”
My husband and I visited this attraction whilst on holiday in the area and we are glad that we did.
We were met at the admission hut by the owner and he made us very welcome, the cost was £4 each, and the ticket was valid all day so you could come and go as you pleased.
Although not huge there is so much to see in the model village and the additional fun quiz sheet made it even more interesting, in fact it was quite challenging !!
We visited the tea rooms and sampled some of the home made cake and it was delicious and reasonably priced.
“A great day out”
We had a great time at this compact and well laid out model village. Although not an extensive site it has a lot of detailed models in a small area. We participated in the quiz which asks a lot of questions on things to find while walking around. We found the quiz challenging and it make us take a closer look at the detailed models. We had not completed all the questions after our first walk around so we went around a further two times to complete all questions, and still got some wrong. Terrific value for money.
We have seen many model villages around the UK and this one is up there among the best.
A good marketing ploy was the quiz handed out at the ticket office asking you to find certain objects etc. to do this we had to go round 3 times to find everything and the result, of course, that we saw more each time.
Beautifully laid out and well constructed, also inexpensive which made a nice change!
tea rooms very pleasant and the staff really friendly and welcoming.
“Family day out”
this is a great model village on the north side of Bridlington and is certainly worth a visit . My grandson did not want to leave . Must take hours of up keep as it very well kept and we had a nice cake and tea . Looking forward to going again soon
